PHP does not support the GD library.
« on: April 30, 2004, 03:34:01 am »

There are two issues that can cause this problem.  The first is that PHP was never compiled with GD.  You can check phpinfo() to see whether or not this is the case.

The second alternative is that PHP was compiled with GD, but without the JPEG library.  Look for 'JPEG support enabled' in the GD section of phpinfo to determine if this is the case.

Hi,

Sorry to post Im not an expert on php and such like, in fact Im a novice and this FAQ doesnt make much sense to me. I cant find the enabled as discussed.

The installation has worked fine for weeks and suddenly the past few days has started giving. What needs to be done to get it working again? Im confused why it has suddenly decided it will stop working.

PHP running on your server does not support the GD image library, check with your webhost if ImageMagick is installed

File: /work/webroots/thebluehyena/gallery/include/picmgmt.inc.php - Line: 203

Thanks in advance.

Matt.

if it used to work and suddenly has stopped, your webhost probably has changed/upgraded your webserver. Contact them for support.
