[Solved]: Problem with cookies / viewing folders?
« on: March 08, 2009, 08:24:07 pm »

Hi,

I suddenly can't get in to any of my photo folders. I can see the list but I click them and nothing happens. I tried logging in to upload a file and I got an error message I haven't seen before - "Warning your browser does not support script's cookies".

Can someone tell me what's going on?

The only thing I've changed today is put a google ads banner at the bottom of the page, nothing else.

I've tried this on both FF and IE. Also Google Chrome.

Thanks.

It's a browser problem not a Coppermine one. I can easly access to your album but something else is wrong here. You should show the albums IMO. You buid a category, you create an album inside the category and then you upload pictures to the albums, right? Ok, if you don't show albums in your gallery it's very difficult to understand the order of the gallery.

Go to Config panel--> Album list view --> The content of the main page.

There if you have something like "catlist/random,2/lastup,2"  you should add "/alblist/" where you want to show the albums list. Then try again.

I suggest this  because I can't see the album list, I only see the category list.

If you have upload issues as well, you should do as suggested in the docs, section "Asking for support on upload issues".

Hi,

thanks for your help with this, but alblist already appears.

Here is what it says in the "content of the main page" section in Config:

breadcrumb/catlist/alblist/random,0

Can anyone help further? I can't get in to anything at all.

Thanks a lot.

I'm sorry, I don't see it. I just see "Category" and "Random files".   :-\

See? Can someone please help me further?

Thanks.

You appear to have replaced your index.php with a static page. Upload a clean copy of index.php from the Coppermine package.
