Slideshow width problems
« on: February 18, 2009, 10:58:28 pm »

When I try and watch a slideshow of an album I can only see half the photo within the frame. Can anyone shed any light on why this should be and any suggestions how I can fix it please?

The intermediates are not there. Re-create them using the admin tools.

In the admin tools, I have tried:
Update thumbs and/or resized photos

and using:
Only resized pictures

but it keeps returning:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@davekirwinphotography.co.uk and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

I take it this means there's a problem with my server when trying to create the intermediates. ALternatively is there a simple way to disable the slideshow option?

Thanks for your input.

Yes, ask your web host support, they should solve the problem.

Yes, ask your web host support, they should solve the problem.

They seems unable to help:
I have now recreated the error

Only the option Updating thumbnails and/or resized images appears to work
The other two do not appear to be functioning

I suggest you subnmit this to Coppermine or search their user forum
The affected file is util.php
However it may be a dependent file that is at fault

You may want to check the uploaded files, as they may now have been renamed thumb_

I now don't seem to be able to upload pictures! - But I have put this on another help thread.
Does the above mean anything - I'm in overmy head with databases, I'm luck I have got so far!

------------
 Yes --> disable slideshow

That's helpful - thanks!

Solved with help of server admin. Resized all thumbs and picture s in batches of 20 - anymore and the error message occurs. All apparently working okay now. Thanks for help.
