Hi if I go to a main image on  site :

http://hughsphotoshop.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=28&pos=1

and right click on image ,I see the following(an example):

Element Properties
Image properties
Location:  http://hughsphotoshop.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/marsg_frog_DSC_1781.jpg
Type:                      jpeg image
Image Dimensions: 800px x 532px
Size Of File : 197.04 kB  (201764 bytes)
Alternative text: Blank


How can I change the alternative text from blank to say " marsh frog" ? (eg image keyword)

Hi Ludo I must be missing point looked in config no option to set ?
or do I need to edit else where?

He is telling you that the example you gave has zero content in the image's caption field. You need to add it during file upload and placement.

Or after you upload it, edit the file properties - the caption field is right there.

If it is empty it will show the alt text from the other data source you quoted.

This is the info when hitting go to file properties
for the photo.
As can be seen all fields are filled yet
in mozilla firefox when right clicking on the actual
photo the alternative text shows as "blank" ?

All the fields you cited are indeed filled in.

However, from what I can tell, neither the "Title" or "Description" fields have any data whatsoever.

I misspoke earlier: by caption I meant "Description."

Thanks aeronautic only shows as blank alternative text in mozilla firefox
when right clicking properties on main image, internet explorer shows
no such option ,  this is what made me wonder if i had missed an option
