Default sort order for files

Hello,

Is there a solution for getting a different sort order by category or album?
Sometimes it has to go up or down.
I know it for myself how to do it but for a lot of visitors of my site it`s not clear  :o

Example: a game has to go up,
the album image off the has to go down........
