Exif comment & desc
« on: January 28, 2009, 10:20:19 am »

Hi,
I have alot of pics where I have added EXIF comments add descriptions for a picture. This is done with Exifmanager http://phgiraud.free.fr/exifmanager/index.html
For example, the entries ar like:

Description: "Holiday Italy 2008"
comment: "Ponte Vechhio, Firenze"

Is there a way to extract this information automatically during import of files, so I dont have to add it again...

To clarify:

What I wanted to achieve was to have

the exif description inserted into "File title" and
the exif comment inserted into "File description"
in the image upload phase
so it should be seen under the image's thumbnail.

I didn't find that in the Fine Manual... :)

That's beyond the scope of the exif features. You'd have to come up with custom code to accomplish this.
