1.4.15 Changed Files?
« on: January 06, 2009, 06:19:55 pm »

Hello,

I have applied all security updates to my site but I've been hesitant to apply 1.4.15 because I foolishly didn't keep a list of files I've modified in my install. I read here that due to the nature of the release, you can't provide manual update instructions which is fine. However, could you send me a list of the files changed so I can do a comparison on my install to find the changes that I need to make? This would shave a bunch of time off instead of going through each individual file looking for the changes.

Thanks.

Use a diff viewer such as winmerge to compare the files automatically.

All files get changed for a release since the version numbers in each file go up.

Thanks for the quick reply. I had used WinMerge before for comparing files, but I didn't know it could compare whole folders! Thanks!
