Deleting pictures by Views
« on: January 02, 2009, 05:13:29 pm »

Simply put I want the pictures while I am in edit mode to be ordered by views so that I am able to delete pictures/pages of pictrues that have low views. Is there a way for such a thing? I could care less about the rating just the views.

See http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/faq.htm#changeOrderEdit

Instead of changing it to 'pid' change it to 'hits'.

Thanks Nibbler but it did not work...You've been around for a minute you helped me years ago....

This is what it was before I changed it.

$sql =  "SELECT * ".
                        "FROM {$CONFIG['TABLE_PICTURES']} ".
                        "WHERE approved = 'NO' ".
                        "ORDER BY pid ".
                        "LIMIT $start, $count";
I then did what you said and there is no change.

$sql =  "SELECT * ".
                        "FROM {$CONFIG['TABLE_PICTURES']} ".
                        "WHERE approved = 'NO' ".
                        "ORDER BY hits ".
                        "LIMIT $start, $count";

 $sql = "SELECT p.*,a.category FROM {$CONFIG['TABLE_PICTURES']} as p ".
                           "INNER JOIN {$CONFIG['TABLE_ALBUMS']} as a ".
                           "ON a.aid=p.aid ".
                           "WHERE p.aid = '$album_id' ".
                           "ORDER BY hits LIMIT $start, $count";

MY BAD.......pasted wrong one when I went back.

Did you by chance contact Nibbler by PM? Then stop it except if you have his approval.

Man Müller what's your deal? :'( I did as you said and you still act like this what’s your issue. I didn't pm anyone and if I did so what they could check me if I did, just like you would if I PM u. :o Nibbler helped me years ago and was nice when he did, just like he was this time.  The post said solved you didn't have to comment on top of that if I pm him do you think he would have posted on my thread,,,,,We all know you’re the Forum GOD no need to act like a *beep*. People come to the forums for help not to be ridiculed, belittled or treated like children, I am a grown as man I have a mother and a wife and you act worst than both of them put together with your nagging..  Trust me I would not come here to put up with someone like you if I didn't need to. Funny thing is you knew the answer to my question and did not want to tell me because I posted in the wrong spot, also you could have pm me with your concerns but you wanted to show just how bad you are by doing it in the public forums. You are what we call an internet bully because if we were to meet in person I know for a fact you would not act the way you do. Not because I a bad man (I am) but because there is a certain respect that grown men give each other. Since it likely we will never meet you can act that way people here will accept the way you act as they need help but they too will grow tired of your antics.... Now you can do as internet bullies do and ban me because they don't like to hear the truth about their stank altitude.

 Like I said above thanks Nibbler I have always appreciated your professional approach on these forums maybe you spread some of that PROFESSIONALIZEM to a counterpart. ;D
