Playing FLV files
« on: January 17, 2009, 01:49:22 am »

I created a nice site for a friend and her family videos which she has already converted to FLV. I don't believe FLV files are supported because they didn't play and the mod that was created a few months ago didn't have .FLV listed as a selection. I'd like to see this added as a plugin (an FLV / swf plugin) so that we can upload in addition to the usual video formats, the FLV and SWF files.
If there is a way to do this now, please let me know as I have searched to board but have either overlooked the solution or haven't found it yet.
Thanks

Nevermind I found a link by doing a google search
here it is (flv in action using CPG)

if anyone else is having similar problems getting the mod to work. I'm going to do some back engineering as it were to see what might be the trouble and use Firebug too if that helps. I'll let you know what I find and what went wrong.
