A search and a review of the Troubleshoot sticky doesn't discuss this problem.

In some of the larger albums (+25 images), when additional files are uploaded, the edit files screen is blank.

I am able to go and edit files individually but once it happens, I am never able to get the edit files (collectively) screen for that album again.

Actually the problem has persisted for some weeks. I finally got sick and tired of losing the function on album after album and wanted to see if there is a solution.
