iPhone upload app
« on: December 02, 2008, 01:48:10 am »

Hi,

I've finally got around to installing Coppermine as my gallery for my photos.  One of the things I do is travel a lot and I like to upload from my mobile devices as well as my lappy.  I've been looking for an iPhone client app like the one I have for posting to my blog.  I can't seem to find one.  Is there one?  I'm happy to write one if there isn't (I'm an embedded software engineer who works on Linux and OS-X).  However I can't see if there's a remote client API for Coppermine.  Does it support XML-RPC or JSON-RPC?  If not I could write that too :-)

Cheers.

Melanie

I can't answer the API part of the question but to my knowledge there is no such thing as a Iphone upload app. So you are welcome to flex your programming mucsles and program one. No doubt there wil be quite a lot of people who wil appreciate the effort  ;)

I'll do it then.  It would probably comprise a plug-in for coppermine together with the app.

Any update to the iPhone upload to CPG?  I've searched, yet come up with nothing positive.  Hopefully I'm just missing something.
