[Solved]: Impossible to move ....
« on: October 15, 2003, 09:46:18 pm »

I just installed CPG 1.2 on a freash installed, not upgrade and when i go to upload a picture i get this error.

Impossible to move flag.jpg to albums/userpics/10001/

Now i don't know if this helps but i have CPG 1.1 installed into a different dir on the same site and the upload feature works just fine. I am able to upload picturs without a problem.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Did you use the same prefix for your 1.2.0 tables as you did you 1.1.0 tables?  that might be causing a conflict...

CHMODed /albums and all subfolders to 777 or 755 (depending on your server config)?

#1 - No i have used a different prefix in the database for the cpg1.2 install, everything else seems to work find but i just can't upload.

#2 - I tried CHMODing /albums and all subfolder to 777 and 755, still getting the same error.

Anything else you guys can think of?

maybe ownership? Tried CHOWN? Safe_mode?

We have a new tool built in that's supposed to help us support and debug, try this:
log in as admin, admin mode
enter this url manually: http://yoursite.com/yourcoppermine/phpinfo.php
Copy the content of the page and paste it to a posting here.

It appears as if you don't have GD. Do you run IM?

Please include a reference to this thread ( http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=567 ) in your pm so I can find it more easily...

well, turned out it was an easy one: you didn't have an album at all, so where was the upload supposed to go to? I created an album and *boom* I was able to upload...

P.S. Don't forget to change your admin pw you sent me!
