crop and rotate not working in 1.4.19

Blank window opens on 'rotate image'.
Image is copied into edit directory.

Known issue, depending on image size and server resources. Has been asked and answered often already. Crop/rotate on your client before uploading - it's the better choice anyway.

For the record, server is Dual G4 Mac Server with 2Gb RAM.

Images 64Kb, 640 x 480px.

That doesn't matter at all. The crop&rotate feature needs a lot of resources. However, the amount of resources a PHP script is allowed to consume is being set up in your webserver's configuration, usually php.ini.

Post a link to your gallery and a non-admin test user account if you want us to look into this.
