I reckon this may be wishful thinking, but here goes ...

There is a gallery-wide option to Display Uploader Name under thumbnails. Can this be done by album? In my site www.alt1858.org/gallery I've uploaded all the files into 5 albums unavailable for uploads other than by me, so there's little point in showing Admin under each photo. However, I've just created another album where members can upload and it would be useful to show the uploader's name under thumbnails in this album (but ONLY this album).

I've done a search for this topic with the keywords "Display Uploader Name" but can't find anything.

If this is not currently possible, may I make a humble request for this feature to be included in a future release? As a Coppermine newbie and PHP tragic, I think this software is just the "ants pants" and a godsend for harried administrators. I've been basking in reflected glory from our members during the last couple of weeks since I installed it.
