missing mandatory files (but they are there!) - huh?
« on: October 26, 2008, 05:47:44 pm »

 ???
strange
 ???

I just upgraded from v 1.4.8 (an auto-install version) to 1.4.19 with zero hassles - it helps that the documentation is good, the uploading is simple & obvious, and the site is still very new

the site appears to be ok http://muscatphotography.karamatt.com and the upgrade has resolved some of the key issues I was having (thanks Joachim!)

however.... when I do version check I get the following files as mandatory that have not been installed but I know that they have because I can see them on my FTP (Transmit) software

albums    -      -
albums/index.php    -      -
albums/edit/index.html    -      -
albums/edit/no_FTP-uploads_into_this_folder!    -      -
albums/edit    -      -
albums/edit/index.html    -      -
albums/userpics    -      -
albums/userpics/index.php    -      -
albums/userpics/no_FTP-uploads_into_this_folder!

should I be worried or concerned OR should I just ignore this error message?

thanks in advance

Those messages can safely be ignored. The garbage collection currently delete those files every now and then, which is rather a cosmetical issue than an actual bug in terms of security.
