« on: October 19, 2008, 02:32:40 pm »

My host recently transferred my gallery to a  new server, and since then i cannot upload new pictures. All the files are there on the new server, but when i click on batch add files i get this message saying 'No new file was found '.    :'(

Upgrade!. cpg1.4.14 is outdated, most recent stable release currently is cpg1.4.19. There's a reason why new releases come out.

The account you tested is an admin account, which is a very silly thing to post on a public board and totally uncalled for. I edited the account data out in your posting and changed the password for that account on your gallery. Change that account immediately and turn it into a non-admin test user account.

Additionally, you haven't done as suggested in the docs - you were supposed to set the number of URI upload fields to 0 instead of 1. After applying the needed changes this is the error message I get:
Quote
The file 'albums/userpics/10004/flower2.jpg' can't be inserted in the album

Unable to create thumbnail or reduced size image.
There's a number of reasons that can lead to this kind of error message. All of the possible reasons are being discussed in several threads on this board - search it for that error message.

You've made all possible mistakes that come from not reading carefully. I'm not ready to do your homework for you. Grow up and do exactly as suggested before asking for more support.
