Fatal Error + Additional concerns
« on: October 10, 2008, 07:03:51 pm »

Hello! My gallery is located here.

I am using Coppermine 1.4.9, Yahoo! Web hosting, and phpMyAdmin for my gallery. A few days ago, it became inaccessible rather randomly, with every page in the directory sending me to the standard "Fatal Error" page. I did not do anything out of the ordinary before this occurrence, and Yahoo also noted that they had not modified anything on their side when I inquired. I have been using this gallery for over two years without issue. Thus, I'm completely lost as to what has happened.

When I attempted to debug, I noticed my own fatal error - I had accidentally installed phpMyAdmin in the same directory as the gallery  (Could this be one source of the original problem?). And thus any attempt to log in to the admin panel for phpMyAdmin also redirects me to the Fatal Error page :(

Any assistance is much appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Enable the debug mode and post the actual error message here.

Also you wrote that you are using cpg 1.4.9. If that is not a typo (for 1.4.19) then upgrading to latest stable version is almost mandatory.

No, it really is 1.4.9 (According to the folders I have) :)

And the second part is the issue - my phpMyAdmin was unintentionally installed into the same directory as the gallery itself, so even though it functioned fine -- up until now -- I am unable to access anything within the directory itself.

I'm thinking that the actual version is 1.4.09.

I ran the latest 1.4.19 update just now, and though the update procedures appear to be successful, the gallery is still not functioning beyond the Fatal Error page.

I reinstalled the admin tool and managed to find this error message:

Quote
While executing query "delete from `phpmyadmin`.mathiassessions where time<1223737007 and remember=0;" on Resource id #6

mySQL error: File './phpmyadmin/mathiassessions.MYD' not found (Errcode: 13)

The database table is corrupted. First try this and if it does not solve your issue then contact your webhost.

Thank you for attempting to help. Though the link you pointed me to didn't work (Nor did contacting my webhost), I made a backup of my database through Yahoo on my own and restored it...and somehow the missing table just returned :)

Resolved!
