Meta-Albums and Subcategories
« on: September 25, 2008, 09:17:16 am »

Hi, I have a gallery in the following setup:

Category 1
- Category 2
-- Category 3
--- Albums
- Category 4
-- Albums
- Albums

Everything works fine from the root/home page.  Problems occur when I'm located in Category 1...

I have toprated displaying beneath the albums, which appears to work fine.  However, if I click into the Top-Rated link , the new set appears to ignore pictures in Category 2 and 3 - my guess because it is a category in a category.

This also happens with Most Viewed, etc - basically the meta albums.  In short, they grab the right pictures when they're displayed at the main content (breadcrumb, catlist...), but when viewed as a full set of thumbnails (clicking the links), they ignore pictures more than 1 category down.

Is there a fix for this?

Thanks

When you click top-rated, it doesn't include items from the Video Games > Machinima

However, they are included just fine on the shorter tables at that page (random files, last viewed, last uploaded etc)

I think this is already fixed; update your gallery.

There's a reason why upgrades are being released: they fix bugs in older versions and close security holes. Always keep your gallery up-to-date.
