upload errors
« on: September 23, 2008, 11:21:21 am »

Dear friends,

Please let me know what went wrong with my site.
After upload a file. I got the following message in Notices :

/include/functions.inc.php
Warning line 2944: cannot yet handle MBCS in html_entity_decode()!

and more and more error message after clicking CONTINUE.

I've read via the whole 4.11.6 Error message, found no error similar to mine at all.

Please feel free to log on my little baby site and take a look.

Thank you very much.
Gemino.

Log in as admin CHECK
Go to your coppermine page and log in as admin
Go to the config screen
Scroll to the bottom of the page
Expand the "Maintenance settings" section by clicking on it
Enable debug mode for everyone
(set Enable debug mode to "Yes: Everyone") CHECK
Leave display of notices switched off CHECK <-- that's the only part I didn't do last time.
(notices are only meant for developers. If you have idea what they mean, leave them off.)
Save the new settings by clicking on "Save new configuration" CHECK
Go to the "groups" panel
Set the upload form configuration for all groups to "Single file uploads only" CHECK

set File upload boxes to "1" (1) CHECK
set URI upload boxes to "0" (2) CHECK
set No. of boxes to "fixed" (3) CHECK
Save your new settings
(click on "Apply Modifications") CHECK

Then try to upload (using http uploads, even if you experienced troubles using another upload method) - you should get a more detailed error message that tells you what exactly goes wrong with your uploads.

If the error message doesn't mean anything to you, search the support board for the error message you get.

Thank you!
Fixed by change from imagemagik to GD2.x
Guess imagemagik no longer working after I changed my hosting or maybe upgraded to latest Coppermine version.

Anyway, as long as it is fix now... I'm happy ;)
