Man hat eingesehen, dass es auf Dauer nicht möglich ist, den Pagefooter zu verschlüsseln, verstecken und wieder zusammenzubauen.

Statt dessen wird der Footer nun - sofern es dabei bleibt - über ein Token {CREDITS} platziert.

Hier ein Auszug aus dem neuen Manual:

"Copyright-disclaimer in footer
In previous versions of Coppermine the "Powered by Coppermine" used to be obfuscated to make it hard for non-coders to remove the tag. The reason behind this was an additional license add-on that disallowed users to change the line.

The dev team has reviewed this policy for cpg1.5.x and decided that end users are allowed to change or remove the line in legal terms.

However: We have a forum policy for the support board instead:
Support will only be given for galleries that show the "Powered by Coppermine" tag unobfuscated.

Before removing the credits, please consider this as well: Coppermine is free software, the dev team asks you to keep the footer intact. We're convinced that you should give credit where credit is due. So please think twice before you decide to remove the tag.

This being said, this is how you can change the tag: to edit the place where the tag is being displayed, edit themes/yourtheme/template.html and move the placeholder {CREDITS} around. As it is being generated by Coppermine's pagefooter function, it needs to appear below the {GALLERY}-token. To change the content of the disclaimer, edit themes/yourtheme/theme.php and edit the function theme_credits as you see fit. If this function doesn't exist in your custom theme, copy it from the sample theme into your custom theme first."

Da hast du die entsprechende Stelle schon fett hervorgehoben und sie trotzdem nicht verstanden:

Hier entwickeln mehrere Leute und nicht nur Joachim, falls dir das noch nicht aufgefallen ist.

Aber was sag ich da.. bin ja eh nur ein Dackel.

Eine solche Entscheidung kann nie gegen den Willen des Vorsitzenden erfolgen, sonst müsste er zurücktreten.

Auf diesen Punkt ging GauGau schon vor Deinem kindischen Posting ausführlich ein und schilderte die Gründe, warum es bis dato einen Footer gibt und warum dieser ab Version 1.5x abschaltbar sein wird.

So leid es mir auch tut, aber bei der Entscheidungsfindung, ob der Zwangsfooter deaktivierbar sein soll oder der Stauts Quo erhalten bleibt, warst Du kein zu berücksichtigender Umstand. Ich weiß, jedem gefällt es, ein wichtiges Zahnrädchen im Getriebe des Lebens zu sein. Aber nicht überall kann der Einzelne ein Player sein.

Im og Thread wurde geschildert, warum Du nicht mal das Zünglein auf der Waage warst. Schlicht aus dem einfachen Grund, daß nur GauGau und ich Deine Ausführungen verstehen. Alle anderen im Team sprechen nicht deutsch und stimmten aus eigener Überlegeung und ohne Lenkung und Leitung Deinerseits gegen den Footer.

Wenn das Gekeile nicht ohnehin schon absolut lächerlich war, jetzt ist der Unsinn nochmals übertroffen.

PS: Noch ein Thread mit Geblubber ist nicht sinnvoll. Schreibe im anderen weiter.
