Bug in displayimage
« on: September 24, 2003, 08:56:32 pm »

I just posted this in the sourceforge forum, but I think this Forum is going to be the official forum for coppermine, so I'm going to make my only double-post :
Quote
I think there is a bug in the displayimage function:
when makeintermediate is set, the reduced-size image is shown forcing the dimensions of the original image (i.e. stretched) instead of with its own size.
The problem should be in function html_picture() in the file displayimage.php
I've checked all versions (up to 1.1.1) and the code is allways the same.
Being the original forum lost, I don't know if this bug has been already discovered and possibly solved. There is nothing in the FAQ, as far as I've been able to find!
I'm rather new to coppermine, so I don't know what should be changed to have the function working properly.

Any help will be appreciated.

Some more hunting
« Reply #2 on: September 29, 2003, 08:14:57 pm »

Thank you for your attention.

In the meantime I did a little bit of hunting, and I discovered that this happens only if
Code: [Select]
Use dimension ( width or height or Max aspect for thumbnail )*
is set to height.

You can see the behaviour here:
http://www.ilvaldinoto.tv/displayimage.php?pos=-73
(look to the properties and then view the image alone)

By the way, I use the great cpgHacks by Tarique  :D (could the bug be there? - I don't think so), and <Height> is ideal when combined with the filmstrip.
