Google Chrome Browser and Coppermine
« on: September 02, 2008, 09:39:01 pm »

Here's a couple of screenshots of Google's new Chrome Browser working with Coppermine. I do believe this is a much faster browser than IE and even FF. Pretty cool!

Did you read the manual first???? Taking 2 minutes to backup your files can save you hours of wondering what you screwed up.

Just tried it myself and it really is good. It wil be interesting to see how it competes and wheter decent plugins appear.

My worry is compatibility. Will we have to develop custom code for yet another browser or will it remain compliant to FF standards (I'll ignore MS efforts as they are never compliant to anything but their own intentions).

Currently I have to do bloody png fixes for IE6, transparency differences between FF and IE, IE7 fixes...... The list goes on. Please let Chrome just work.
