Fatal Error keeps coming back
« on: August 18, 2008, 02:11:31 pm »

A few days ago someone informed me my website www.danhaga.com was not working so I checked it out to find a blank white screen with only the text "Fatal Error :".

I rebuilt every table in my database and it solved the problem and i found out it was the sessions table.

The next day the problem was back.  Plain white screen & Fatal Error:

I got into mysql and entered REPAIR TABLE cpg149_sessions which fixed it again and upgraded to the latest coppermine version.

Now this morning I have the same error.  I fixed it again but Im sure it will be back.

Any suggestions for fixing this?

Thanks

This happened a few more times yesterday and I fixed it.

Today the gallery kinda shows up but says:

Critical Error

There was an error while processing a database query

Oh and running "REPAIR TABLE cpg149_sessions" does not fix this one.

On a side note I have other coppermine installations sepparate on my domain and they are running fine.

Enable debug mode and see what the problem is.

If running a repair doesn't help then you need to contact your host for support.

Ive emailed tech support with my problems...

In the meantime i repaired the pictures table (see attachment for mysql messages)

Than I got a fatal error mentioning config file (see attached)

I repaired config than got a fatal error mentioning sessions table again (see attached)

I repaired sessions and the site is working again but for how long...

As Nibbler suggested: ask your webhost for support: one (ore more) database tables constantly crashing and needing repair is not related to coppermine, but an indication of something fishy on the webserver's end where the database runs on. Only your webhost can fix this for you. No need to go through all the effort and post debug_output and a lot of screenshots. Don't ask the mailman to get a new pair of shoes if he constantly falls down the stairs leading to your house. Instead: fix the stairs - they must be broken.
