[Solved]: File path ( url )
« on: August 15, 2008, 10:48:13 am »

Hello,

Iam using coppermine for a while now and i have a serious problem and havent find a solution yet.

Iam uploading video's to my coppermine gallery and i place the url's on forums and other websites.
For example the url is http://www.mywebsite.com/coppermine/displayimage.php?album=11&pos=0

When iam adding new video's to the coppermine gallery, the last video gets an url with pos=0 and the url of
the other video's that are already available changed to pos=1 pos=2 etcetera.

This is a serious problem when iam using this url to link to some video's

is there a solution for this so that the url keep the same.

I dindnt found a treath with this problem on the forum.

Thanks

Rob

There are plenty of threads discussing this. You need to use the 'static' link that is displayed in the file information section below the image when posting links.

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

Thanks for the quik replay,

I have tested this plugin and it works but its not what iam looking for.
I want to place an url to the coppermine page were they can view the video in the coppermine interface. So that they can find and view more video's there.

And iam not finding a static link for this page Nibbler.

Thanks

Maybe you disabled the file information section in config. Post a link to your gallery.
