[Solved]: Migrating to a different subdomain
« on: July 12, 2008, 11:04:08 pm »

Hello all!

I've been running CPG for a few months now on a kind of test basis on one of my sites.  I'm in the process of a complete site rebuild and transferring it to a different subdomain on the same server.  I've got the same version of CPG installed on both subs, the only difference is that the new one has been bridged with phpBB3.

Is there a simple way to migrate all albums, images, and maybe even users directly from one gallery to the other?  I'm hesitant to just start FTPing folders across as there are warnings against that.  Any suggestions?

Thanks a ton!

In your place I follow this steps: http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/faq.htm#moveGallery and then, bridge.  ;)
