Where does the picture file actually be placed?

I want to move the gallery to other location.

the picture files are being stored in your_coppermine_folder/albums/ - their reference is being stored in the cpg11d_pictures database table as a relative path. You can move your entire coppermine install to another folder structure as long as you keep the folder structure within coppermine intact.

If you want to move to a different server/webhost, just download the complete contents of your coppermine folder (with all subfolders) to your harddrive (keeping the structure intact) and backup your coppermine mySQL-tables (using a tool like phpMyAdmin). On the target-server, you simply upload your coppermine folder (and chmod the albums folder as suggested for fresh installs with 755 or 777) and restore the database from the dump you created before. All that is left to do on the new server is to go to coppermine config and change the "link to ecards" settings to reflect your new server/folder structure.
