Batch Upload Problem (i am a newbie)
« on: June 22, 2008, 04:54:05 pm »

Please forgive me if this has been answered but I cant find the answer

is there a maximum size of the total files in a batch upload in mb
is there a maximum nimber of files in batch upload in qty

I have managed one with 16 pics total 8.6mb but I have a folder with 1000 pics in total 16mb and it keeps failing (no error message)

I am just wondering if there has been limits set by default and if I can increase them

(please dont be too technical otherwise I wont understand)

thank you

Coppermine doesn't set limits but your webhost might have. Try a smaller number of files per folder.

the files are already uploaded to the albums folder
so how would the webhost have a say on the coppermine program importing them into itself?

Coppermine is a PHP script, so any restrictions your host applies to PHP affect Coppermine. Search the board for suhosin.
