Adding Watermark to Existing Files On Server.
« on: June 13, 2008, 09:14:51 pm »

Hello,

I was wondering how to update my existing pictures on the server with a watermark that I have created? I run my images through a batch process in Photoshop to add the watermark to my images. I don't want to loose any of my comments and view counts on my pictures, so how can I just add the watermark and then update everything?

I thought that maybe I could just download all the files off the server that are the original images and then run them through the batch process to add the watermark, and then re-upload the new ones to the server over-righting the old ones. Then in the admin panel, just update the thumbs and intermediate images? Would this work or is there an easier way? Any help would be great. Thanks for your help.
