sql help

MySQL error was : Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (46)

I keep getting the above error message when trying to install this. any ideas? I am setting it up thru yahoo web hosting

the error message is quite common and has been asked for very often already (search results). This is not something that can be fixed in Coppermine, you'll have to ask your webhost for support.
