upload a photo twice without saving 2 physical copies?
« on: May 23, 2008, 12:20:40 pm »

Hi!

If a particular user uploads a file twice,it is saved as 2 physical copies,by appending a tilde, followed by a number. Is it possible to upload a photo twice, belonging to a particular user by saving only one physical copy in the userpics folder,& have 2 separate entries in the xxx_pictures table, with a same filepath in both the records?

How should coppermine determine the difference if files have idenctial names but show something different? It can't. Therefor, your question is not applicable if you ask me.
