You should familiarize yourself with the documentation - http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm

Also, that's not BB Code, that's html.

I had read that documentation and I dont think it answered my question if It did I did not see it. It says when making a description you can use bbcode and in the examples it give one of them is <a href= " namehere"> also another example was <img src=" name.jpg">which is my link and image.(and yes I know this is html, but that is what the description says) If this is true and we can do this in the description , when I do it .. the code is just showing up and not the image or link. can someone please advise. I have as I stated above read all the documentations with alot of it going over my head as I am very new to all of this.. Thank you very much..

Robyn,

You can't just enter HTML code in the way you are trying - you need to enter BB code.
Here's the relevant section from the documentation:

Code: [Select]
Coppermine understands the following bbCodes (the same bbCodes that are used by phpBB and many other BBS apps) in image and album description

    * [b]Bold[/b] => Bold
    * [i]Italic[/i] => Italic
    * [url=http://yoursite.com/]Url Text[/url] => Url Text
    * [email]user@domain.com[/email] => user@domain.com
    * [color=red]some text[/color] => some text
    * [img]http://coppermine.sf.net/demo/images/red.gif[/img] => Image

Steve already listed the bbcodes supported by Coppermine.
