I uploaded new pictures into a new folder in FTP, chmod set correctly, but when I try batch adding I get the warning 'No New File was Found'. This has never happened to me before, I've done the same steps I always do but this just started a few days ago.

Upgrade! You're running cpg1.4.16, while the most recent stable release currently is cpg1.4.18. There are known security flaws in all versions older than cpg1.4.18 that are actively being exploited, so it's absolutely mandatory to perform the upgrade asap.
One you're done with the upgrade, do exactly as suggested in the docs, sections "upload troubleshooting" and "asking for support on upload issues". Additionally, post a deep link to one of the pics that you're trying to batch-add. Post as well what server OS you use and what you have set as batch-add interface.
