Does anyone know how to make it so the Index page (http://www.janishenderson.com/gallery/index.php) to your gallery shows your (the user/owner's) gallery first (http://www.janishenderson.com/gallery/index.php?cat=10001)?

I think perhaps I set up my gallery wrong, cause I don't want anyother users but me and the categories within.

If you're going to be the only uploader, then don't user the "user galleries" section at all, but create categories and albums within the public galleries section. The "user galleries" (aka "personal galleries" are meant for non-admins).
Additionally, it's mandatory to upgrade: you're running cpg1.4.16, while the most recent stable release currently is cpg1.4.18. All versions before cpg1.4.18 have serious security flaws that are actively being exploited. It's mandatory to upgrade instantly.
