How did you upgrade ?

I did it that way:

1) Use this guide for making a backup of your database.

(Note: You should also backup your templates if they are modified from the default ones or they will be overwritten.)

2) Download the latest version of coppermine from here.

3) Extract the downloaded file to a new folder on your hard drive.

4) Delete the following files from this newly created folder to ensure you don't overwrite any important files:

The /albums/ directory
anycontent.php

5) Upload this folder to your coppermine installation folder and overwrite any files that already exist.

6) Go to: http://www.yourdomain.com/yourgalleryfolder/update.php

Hopefully everything should go smoothly.

I don't recognize those instructions. You should follow the instructions given in the docs - http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#14 and make sure to do an actual update - not a new install.

This is not a hotline.. keep that in mind.

If you see the folders containing the pictures on the server then you can simply make new albums in cpg and batch add the pictures.

Then make a new album and see if you add the pictures to that new album through Batch Add.

Well, your page is empty for guests - you appear to require authentification. So to enable us to suggest anything, you need to post a non-admin test user account that can actually see the pics in question.

Right.. let's take this from the start. You said you can see the pics on the server. So the pics are still there. You need to re-add them to your cpg site.
We then asked if you could provide a non-admin user account. You said you can not provide that. Or won't for some reason. So either get going to see if you re-add them pics and/or provide the requested non-admin account or go found support elsewhere.

but I sai what do you mean by providing non-admin account? you want me to do one as a user and give you the password and login or what????
