I tried searching the forums and can't quite find the answer to this.

Using the ChaoticSoul theme, the album listings/thumbs don't show up under the categories. I checked the configuration page but everything is set as it should be, so I'm guessing the Theme is overwriting this. Anyone else have this problem and find a solution in the code?

Before doing anything else, it is mandatory that you upgrade! You're running cpg1.4.13, while the most recent stable release currently is cpg1.4.18. There are security flaws in all versions before cpg1.4.18 that are actively being exploited, so you should upgrade immediately.
The theme ChaoticSould is overriding certain config values, see the initial post in the corresponding announcement thread http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,39753.0.html
