[Turned Down]: Use Exif Thumbnails
« on: April 21, 2008, 01:58:19 pm »

Sorry if it was discussed elsewhere, I just got an idea, and haven't found any threads on it.
What if Coppermine would use EXIF embedded thumbnails instead of external files?

The problem points are -
1. Is it even possible?
2. Would it be useful or will it slow down the server to a crawl?

I don't know, since I'm not a web programmer. Write your opinions... and, if it's useful, implement it as an option please.

p.s. or someone please make a mod

Would be dead slow. Definitely will not go into the core.
