Creating a Multi-Media Gallery for Macromedia
« on: April 07, 2004, 10:14:42 am »

I have assignment to create a multi-media Gallery for Macromedia.  This Gallery must support Macromedia Flash Files, basically most multi-media files.   I have looked thru the user read me files and have found no reference to .swf support.  Can some one please elaborate on the subject and does this system support them?

I am in a toss up at the moment between COOPERMINE and 4images Gallery.  I know 4images has the support I need however I finding myself prefering the flexibility in the Theme manipulation with COOPERMINE.

Your advice is appreciatted in advance.

Thank You,

I would add that the Omni has integrated the modifications described in the thread (including .swf support) into CPG 1.3, which is currently available as beta.

Ok you have led me in the direction I needed to go.  I find amny would like the same.  I will check out your beta.

It would be very easy to add such features in the same way the 4images has done and yes this project can and should be open source.  I am Cert. Macro. Pro and i will implement my own own.  If there is a project underway I would be more than happy to contribute to the growth of Coppermine.    My Profile info is cuirrent and you can find where ot reach me there.

Once again Thank You.

When examining the beta, please report any problems on the CPG1.3 Testing/Bugs board. All fixes from the base package are available in the CVS.  Alternatively, you may use CVS software to do an anonymous checkout of the devel branch for the most up to date files.
