[Solved]: FTP upload - file clearing
« on: April 22, 2008, 09:01:45 pm »

When uploading via FTP, everything seems to go just fine and all files get to the server, and into the correct Coppermine album. The process adds normal and thumbs to the albums/ftpupload folder.

But my album/ftpupload folder never gets cleared out.  Shouldn't it?
After the good upload, if I delete the contents from the album/ftpupload folder, my pictures disappear.

Something seems amiss and I don't know where to look. Any help or suggestions?

Thanks,
Karl

Pictures stay where you put them. It's your responsibility to organize them into folders etc.

I thought I had read that this ftpupload folder was a temporay folder and items would be deleted after successful import (batch proccessed) into an album.
I could be mistaken - and certainly wouldn't be the first time  :)

That is not the case. Also, update your gallery; current version is 1.4.18.
