Automatically Displaying Full Size Images
« on: April 04, 2008, 06:50:08 am »

Hi,

I did a search here first - but didn't find anything to match what I need, unless I'm missing a keyword or something.  Anyway:

The images I'll be uploading to Coppermine, will be pretty much the same size: 100x100, and some might be up to 1600x1200, the gallery I'd be working with is a media gallery for an actor, which would be for lj icons, avatars, wallpapers.

What I'm wondering is - for certain albums - is it possible that when you click on the album, that all the images are displayed full size (no thumbs, just the images being displayed).  Is that possible?

If it's not possible, can anybody direct me to a good application?

I don't think you can choose specific albums for this option, only for the entire gallery :-\

That seems okay - how would I go about doing it to the entire gallery?

There are several mods that will allow you to skip the intermediate sized images and go from thumbnail to full-size, either as a pop-up or as a JavaScript-driven layer. Browse the mods board, afaik the "visuals" is what you need to look into.

You want the album page itself to display the full image (1600px) ?

If I understood right you want just the icons to be displayed in full size, right? if that, just set the thumb size to 100px

and, to display no intermediate pictures just set it not to create intermediates in the config panel

Annie, I'm not sure what you're suggesting. You should use the "official" terms. The term "icon" doesn't fall into that category.
