[Solved]: Cookies time out to soon
« on: April 13, 2008, 09:55:03 pm »

I don't pretend to understand cookies, but I'm confident that I'm asking the correct question.
I have some members who experience problems staying logged in. This has been a problem for a while. One or two of the members are on dial up, so the problem is aggravated even more for them. What seems to be happening is that they are being logged out of their session. Logging back in works but before too long they are logged out again despite the fact that they are actively using the site.
My question: Where do I increase the session time within Coppermine? I run a bridged Coppermine to Phpbb3 forum, but I'm told that Coppermine still controls the cookies.

Regards,
Steff

Coppermine doesn't control the cookies when bridged, and the phpbb3 bridge is unsupported anyhow. Don't know what to tell you.

Ok not to worry. I'll check with the dev team of the bridge again just to make sure they told me the correct info.
Thanks for the reply anyway.
