Ok I had the problem with the hackers and I upgraded the gallery and it solved the problem (I upgraded from a 1.4.10 - 1.4.16) But now I can't upload any files.

I know loads of people have had problems but I searched on the forum with the error message but that didn't help.

I enabled debug mode and I got a more precise error message:

Unable to create thumbnail or reduced size image

But I don't have a clue why it can't create the picture.

- The resizing method is set to GD2 and PHPinfo says that it's available
- The permissions are set to 777 on the albums and include directories


Anyone? I would be so greatful

Edit: Still doesn't work but I ahve updated to the 1.4.17

Read the docs, especially the section "asking for support on upload issues" and do exactly as suggested there.
