[Solved]: "No new file was found "
« on: March 08, 2008, 04:48:22 pm »

Hiya, I was uploading my second batch of pics and got the message "No new file was found" .. everything went great with the first add.I've checked the permissions tons of times and re-uploaded the pics but it's still the same issue. Has anybody got an idea what I might've done wrong? Thank you.

RTFM, especially the section "asking for support on upload issues".

You need to set the number of file upload boxes to 1 and the number of URI upload boxes to 0.

http uploads work as expected (see http://tokiohotelvault.orangesarecool.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-30).
My guess is that you have over-modified your theme - the footer is doubled (see screenshot). Try using the classic theme temporarily to figure out if your issue is theme related. If not, post a deep link to one of the pics you're having issues batch-adding. Post as well what operating system your server runs under (information can be found on the phpinfo page).

Still "No files were found" even on the classic theme :s

sample pic : http://tokiohotelvault.orangesarecool.com/gallery/albums/Tours/1000Hotels/1000%20Hotels%20-%2004.03%20-%20Ahoy,%20Rotterdam/tom%20rocks.jpg

Just in case here are the links of the 2 albums that i can't add pics from :
http://tokiohotelvault.orangesarecool.com/gallery/albums/Tours/1000Hotels/
http://tokiohotelvault.orangesarecool.com/gallery/albums/appearances/2007/wettendass20.01.2007/

Eventhough after that i've still managed to add another 2 albums from photoshoots, it worked fine, but not with those pics..i've reuploaded them all a bunch of times and still the same problem keeps coming up.
Also about that double footer, a friend of mine said i have to do an upgrade in order to get it to normal..does that sound right?

Oh and the OS is Linux.

Thank you.

Don't use spaces in folder names - they are not web-safe!

Yeah, I agree: it's dumb to use spaces in folder names - people running a website of their own should know.

Yeah it is, but since I'm very new to all this I still tend to make a few mistakes here and there.
Thanks again for helping me.
