Show no. of Albums and Pictures on the first page
« on: April 01, 2004, 03:58:44 pm »

Hi. Please help, thanks.

I've several catogories to put in the photo album. Each catergories will have several albums and albums will have sub-albums. e.g. Home>Categories>Albums>Subalbums. I don't want to show the albums on the first page, just want to show the categories names. However, when I do this, the numbers of "Albums" and "Pictures" will not be shown.    Is it possible to show it?

Thanks!!

Hi,
you can't have sub-albums, but you can have sub-categories, like this 'Home>categories>sub-categories>albums>pictures'.

If you dont want the albums shown on the front page, just turn Show first level album thumbnails in categories' to NO in the config admin page.

Thanks, but I want to show the number of Albums and Pictures on the first page. Even if I do this "Home>categories>sub-categories>albums>pictures", nothing is shown under the column "Albums" and "Pictures" on the front page. Are there any ways to do that?
