Your issue may or may not be related. It's advisable not to hijack someone else's thread. Apart from that, the same piece of advice that goes to the thread starter applies to you as well: why don't you post a link to your gallery for a start?

Versioncheck is known to cause issues on some webservers when coppermine is installed in the webroot. If you're sure to have upgraded properly, you can savely ignore the fact that versioncheck doesn't work as expected.
