[Solved]: PHP on your server does not support the GD image
« on: March 31, 2004, 09:32:58 am »

Hi

"PHP running on your server does not support the GD image library, check with your webhost if ImageMagick is installed"

This is what I receive when I try to upload a picture.

I have already uploaded 850 pictures with this "GD library".
Can anyone help me???

Well, most likely your webhost disabled it, this thing happens http://cpgnuke.com/index.php?name=News&file=article&sid=24.

If that's the case you should switch to another host. Any descent host should provide that.

Turn on debug mode and copy-paste the output here for us to see.

ALERT
Edit or remove immediately your debug info above cause it contains pass. Sorry, my mistake in first place.

You should check your servers phpInfo and check whether the gd library is still there.

If it's not, ask your webhost why it's gone.

This also sometimes happens when hosts upgrade.  The new server may have a lower version on it initially.  This happened to me.  It was GD2, but when upgraded it was GD1 for a couple of days.  So try to see if GD1 works.
