I searched for this topic and saw that there were plans to make admin notification of comments available, however...  several of my members have asked if they can be notified via email when one of the images they uploaded receives a new comment.

Thought I'd pass it along and see if it's possible for a future release.

I also did not see a current mod for this, but would also be happy if someone could point me to one if it already exists.

The coppermine developement team tries to reduce email traffic as there's already enough spam out there. Therefore functionality that produces even more email traffic most probably won't go into coppermine core code.

If you need that function, search the mods board. It alrady has been coded (standalone and modpack).
