After changing URL: how do I edit the File Information?
« on: January 29, 2008, 01:23:50 pm »

Hello,

I have moved my photo gallery from
http://www.photographe-mariages.net/nice

to

http://www.photo06.fr

This was easy as both are hosted on the same server so I did not need to touch the SQL database.

However when I now look at a picture's file information, the URL still points to the old URL. For instance:
http://www.photo06.fr/displayimage-8-9.html

--> the "File Information" URL points to
http://www.photographe-mariages.net/nice/displayimage-273.html

As I am planning on deleting the initial directory I would like to change all these URLs. Hopefully I won't need to edit directly the mySQL database as this is beyond my skills.

Any help much appreciated!

thanks,

I had to do the same thing, and this really helped me. I envisioned going into code etc. It was a reall relief to have such an easy global change. Thank you so much.
