aid731 error
« on: January 27, 2008, 09:21:13 am »

I tried to move a phone from one album to another using Album List/Edit Files and received the following

"Critical error Script called without the required parameter(s). (aid731) "

Any suggestions?

Also when I try to delete the photo in question I get the same error message.  This is serious.

Very serious. I'm on the brink of panic indeed. ;)
How about posting a link to your gallery for a start.

Have you had time to look at the debug screen at the bottom of the main admin page?

Don't post admin details on a public forum.

This is caused by your host adding extra security/hardening (in this case suhosin) to PHP. It adds a limit to the amount of incoming data that will be accepted. These limits are fine for regular website visitors, but do not take the needs of site administrators into account.

Ask your host to increase the limits or exclude Coppermine from them.

Thank you.  My new host is serversandhosting.com so I'll see how they respond.  I'm trying to get my Coppermine collection off of Gocrappy because of very frequent "Too many connections to MySQL" bomb outs.

Host says they are not going to remove suhosen.  They said "I am changing the restriction from 1024 to 4096, which is twice what the forum you posted in says will work. I hope this will help."

Well it didn't help.  I still can upload pictures to Coppermine but can't move a photo from one album to another nor delete photos once they get there.  No mods to Coppermine.  Just virgin Coppermine set up.

When trying to delete the photo I just uploaded I get the following error message "The selected album/file does not exist ! File: /home/princess/public_html/shutter/editpics.php - Line: 122'

My host tech support did some magic to their server based on my (Joachim Müller's) suggestion.  Re-tested moving and deleting.  All now working normally except Coppermine debug mode is still complaining.  Turned off debug mode to shut it up.  Now I'm back to managing my collection.  The moral of the story is if you are moving to a host running suhosin you may be in for Coppermine trouble.
