Hi all,

I've just bridged Coppermine and vBulletin and was surprised how easy it was!

I have a problem though, one of our forum Moderators should be in charge of the gallery, and thus needs Admin rights. In the manual it says to do this through the Users list, but as I've bridged this directs me to the vBulletin users list.

Can anyone provide a pointer as to how I can make this forum Moderator an Admin on Coppermine?

Many thanks in advance.

Make him an admin in your forum. He'll be an admin in coppermine as well. If you don't trust him to be an admin in your forum, then he is not trustworthy enough to be an admin in coppermine neither.

He isn't an Admin on the forum not because he isn't trustworthy, but because he was only recently "promoted."

I've spoken to our former webmaster who said we need to update a file, but I'm not exactly sure what it is and he's not telling! :p

As suggested above: promote him to admin status in your forum if you trust that guy fully. If you want to hack the core code to accomplish the change you initially requested, take a look at the vb bridge file (bridge/vbulletin30.inc.php), but be advised that this is not recommended nor supported.
