Audio Visuals in Coppermine
« on: January 13, 2008, 11:48:37 pm »

Hello

Can you please tell me what audio/video formats (combined) can be used in Coppermine?
We currently create audio visuals which we would like to view through our gallery.

Using Pro Show Gold provides different formats such as Self-contained EXE, WMV, MPEG 1 and 2
Can any of these be used with Coppermine or are there alternatives?

Thanks.

Mel

In fact you can display all formats supported by the multimedia player on the OS of your clients - coppermine doesn't come with a player of it's own. See Allowed movie types

Thank you.

Allowed Movie Types just states that I can put 'all' in the field. However, it does not specify what movie types. Do you know of anything more specific? Perhaps another URL?

"ALL" equals out-of-the-box the extensions asf, asx, mpg, mpeg, wmv, swf, avi, mov
You can add all kinds of video file extensions though.
